How many more times will Browns fans be subject to the pitiful commentary performances of Ian Eagle and Solomon Wilcots?? I mean I accepted it when their announcing skills were about par with the football skills being displyed by the Browns, but now that we are above .500, we shouldn't have to put up with this shit. The duo is totally oblivious to what is happening on the field. It took them 3 replays to even suggest that the ground may have caused Cribbs's fumble and nearly 5 replays to point out that Tim Carter did actually get two feet in bounds.
I also said 3 years ago that Eagle should be barred from announcing Ravens games because he is such a biased prick. The right move would be to can both of their asses and get Clay Ma
tthews and Michael Dean Perry up in the booth for CBS's cellar games.
tthews and Michael Dean Perry up in the booth for CBS's cellar games.Oh, and did anyone else hear about this??
I guess in that same game there was a controversial field goal or something...
Listen as Eagle nearly blows his load while Wilcots (as observant as he is) notes that the ball did pass through the posts but still insists the field goal is no good. You would think that CBS would realize the combined IQ of their announcers and have a rule book ready at all times.
If we don't get Gus Johnson next week I am going to the bullpen for Jim Donovan.
Go Browns.
