When the Indians folded in the final three games of the ALCS last year I almost tossed my Wahoo hat onto the roof of a building, but restrained, telling myself to wait until we get those Boston bastards next year.
Looking back, if I had known that on July 6, 2008 the Cleveland Indians would be... last in the AL Central at 14 games out of first place, playing without both injured Victor Martinez and Travis Hafner, without C.C. Sabathia who was traded to the Brewers for a AA prospect, last in the league in batting, first in the league in home runs allowed, last in the league in saves, and tail-spinning on a seven game losing streak... I probably would have thrown my hat.
